About me and this blog

I started making Zines and writing this blog because I needed to get my thoughts and opinions out there to not feel so voiceless anymore. This is sort of my empowerment project, and I hope to empower others with my work.

I am a creative, chaotic, sensitive non-binary bean.
My Zines, writing and art are mostly political (but everything is, really). I consider myself queer as in political, antifaschist and critical of any form of oppression and against all forms of hostility.
I’m a social worker and love my work, but hate the conditions. I like to read, write, draw, care for my plants, go to demonstrations and learn about things I find interesting and/or important.
I am also white, able-bodied, thin and grew up in a middle-class family in Germany.
Because of that, there are a lot of experiences I did not have to make. I try to think intersectional, but learning about the struggles others face and checking my privileges is an on-going process.
If I use discriminatory language, ignore the experiences of a group of people or anything else like that please tell me, I’d love to change that.
Constructive criticism is always welcome!
And any others thoughts you have on mine, too 🙂
